Similar to the Bulwark Version, you want a Rock Gauntlet in both hands, the rarity doesn't really matter late game.


Because you're maxing Sudden Gust, with the Quickening Amulet your boulders will have 2 - 3 second cooldowns.

The reason I prefer Scout's skills is threefold:


1. The passive will allow you to get much needed skillpoints easier to max Sudden Gust as quickly as possible.

2. The Tracking skill will allow you, and your teammates, to keep track of the enemies, as you're hurling hell from above. Including through invisibility. As boulders are nearly impossible to miss, this is invaluable.

3. The Shot Caller skill increases the damage of your boulders' after the first and your teammates' damage by 15/20/25%, as they are sorceries, not spells, the decrease in spell damage doesn't matter.


Either Featherfall or the Flight Rune is optimal for this build. With Featherfall you can hold spacebar to hover in the air whilst moving, and you can do so for long enough to where the Rune will be usable again once you land.

With the Flight Rune however, you can gain much more altitude. You're sacrificing mobility once you're up there, But as a mobility tool closer to the ground it is also more useful. To stay in the air, you must do the following:


1. Hold down Q or E to aim one of the boulders, this will cause you to hover and not accelerate downwards.

2. As soon as you release it, wait until your character is 0.5 - 1 second into the throwing animation, before you hold down the other button, as the game is very picky about when it will accept inputs.

3. Wait until your first boulder comes off cooldown before you release it, so you can repeat step 2. and continue hovering.

4. Rinse and repeat indefinitely. If you are being shot at, remember that the boulders can serve as shields, and descending isn't a problem as long as you stayed up in the air long enough for the cooldown of your Flight rune to be negligible once you land.


Optional: Bring a Lightning gauntlet with you, it can be useful to finish someone off, but not necesary.
